Today, April 28 we honor the men and women who were injured, and killed on the workplace. Each year many Americans lose their lives due to the job positions and AFSCME along with the AFL-CIO recognizes Workers Memorial Day as a day to Mourn For The Dead and Fight For the Living. AFSCME works hard to reduce the amount of injuries and to eliminate job fatalities by fighting for workplace safety and better working conditions.
