On June 25th, with your participation, thousands rallied in DC in front of the Capitol demanding health care for all Americans. AFSCME’s own Executive Director; Glenard Middleton stated that:

“The time is NOW we have put our elected officials in place to work for us and that’s what we expect. We expect to get Health Care for all American families and we expect to get it NOW!! Health Care CANT WAIT!!”

As the debate heats up in Washington, families are paying attention to what health care reform means to them. The legislation introduced today, will foster shared responsibility, it will provide a public option of health insurance, and hold insurance companies accountable. Working families across the country expect nothing less.

As we rallied in DC at the Capitol was only the start of this reform we need to continue to support HCAN and reach out to our members of Congress with consistent emails and telephone calls to remind him of how important this cause is. Now is the time!! HEALTH CARE CAN’T WAIT!!!
