AFSCME Council 67 Launches Next Wave Committee

Council 67 recently established a Next Wave Committee to foster, promote and advocate the next generation of union activism and leadership.

The purpose of the Next Wave Committee is to bring together AFSCME sisters and brothers 40 years of age and younger to increase their participation and advancement in the union by helping them to become actively engaged in community, political, social, and economic spheres that are so important to the labor movement.

The Next Wave Committee works to empower young members by providing opportunities for:
• Career Advancement
• Leadership Development
• Community Involvement
• Solidarity and Fellowship

If you would like to participate or if you would like to nominate an AFSCME sister or brother for participation please contact either Trevor Taylor (ttaylor@afscme44.org) or Brendon Laster (blaster@afscme67.org) at 800.727.3332.
